Canadian French Immersion
Quebec City, along with Martinique, is a very logistically friendly location for students groups from the U.S.A to travel to. In addition, it is still very authentically French and proves to be a great learning environment for all ages--without the mainland France price tag.
Québec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques.
Your students will enjoy developing their French through fun local activities, including cooking classes, bobsledding, and even visiting the famous ice hotel (in the winter, of course).
